This page covers the safety, intended-use, and regulatory information for all MoltenCore Dynamics aerodynamic winglets. Read carefully before installing or using these products.

Intended use.

These winglets are aerodynamic accessories designed to add downforce signature to the front of a sportbike at sustained high speeds. They are intended for:

• Closed-circuit track use — track days, racing events, private circuits
• Experienced riders familiar with the dynamics of their motorcycle at high speeds
• Compatible motorcycles — specific platform listed on each product page

Not intended for.

• Public roads in DE/EU — these are not road-legal accessories under StVZO/EU type-approval
• Daily commuting
• Motorcycles outside the listed platform compatibility
• Aggressive stunt-riding or non-aerodynamic use cases

Compatibility per platform.

Yamaha R1 RN49

2015 — 2019 model years. Profiled for the RN49 fairing geometry.

Yamaha R7

2022 onwards. Profiled for the lighter R7 chassis geometry.

BMW S1000RR

Track-spec fairing. Profile-matched to the current S1000RR front-end.

If your model year or sub-variant is not listed, contact us before ordering.

Installation safety.

Surface preparation

Clean the fairing surface thoroughly with isopropyl alcohol before applying mounting pads. Any wax, polish, or oil residue will compromise the bond. Allow the surface to fully dry before pressing the wing into place.

Mounting position

The included installation guide and positioning template specify the correct location and orientation per platform. Incorrect positioning may compromise aerodynamic performance and the integrity of the bond.

Cure time

After installation, allow at least 24 hours for the adhesive to fully cure before any high-speed track use. Rapid temperature changes during cure (e.g. ride the same day) can weaken the bond.

Pre-ride inspection.

Before each track session, visually inspect both winglets for:

• Surface integrity (no cracks, no chips, no warping)
• Mounting pad adhesion (no lifted edges, no gaps)
• Overall alignment (matched left-and-right symmetry)

If any abnormality is detected, do not ride with the winglets attached. Replace mounting pads (spares included in box) or contact us before continued use.

Liability limits.

By installing and using MoltenCore Dynamics aerodynamic winglets, you acknowledge:

• The product is not approved for public road use in DE/EU
• Use is at your own risk — on track or off
• MoltenCore Dynamics is not liable for damage, injury, or loss arising from improper installation, use outside the intended scope, or use on non-listed motorcycle platforms
• Insurance coverage for road accidents while these winglets are installed may be voided — check with your insurer

GPSR compliance.

This product is sold within the EU under General Product Safety Regulation (GPSR) 2024 compliance. The included safety information sheet (PDF) lists the responsible producer, technical reference, and the contact for product-safety inquiries.

Warranty summary.

Two-year limited warranty against material defects. Excluded: track damage, lay-down impact damage, improper installation, use outside the intended scope.

For warranty claims, contact us with your order number, photo evidence of the defect, and a brief description of the use conditions.

Returns & refunds.

14-day return window for unopened, unused product (EU consumer law). Once a winglet has been mounted with adhesive pads, it cannot be returned (the bonding pads are single-use).
